Executive Director
Mrs. Rukiye Turdush is an author and researcher specializing in the political issues affecting the people of East Turkistan. She has a strong academic foundation in global affairs, with advanced training in international relations, diplomacy, and Chinese history. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the University of Catalonia, a degree in International Relations from the University of Windsor, and a degree in Chinese History from East China Normal University in Shanghai. Her academic background reflects a deep understanding of East Turkistan within broader international and geopolitical dynamics.
She currently serves as Executive Director of the Center for East Turkistan National Interest, where she provides focused leadership and advocates for the organization’s mission and strategic initiatives. She also prepares and publishes annual reports, writes articles, and produces podcast programs.
Mrs.Turdush is the author of The East Turkistan’s Right to Sovereignty: Decolonization and Beyond. Her research focuses on China’s genocide in East Turkistan and the structures of Chinese settler colonialism.
Chairperson of the Board
Mr. Turghun is a Sweden-based Uyghur who has been actively involved in the cause of East Turkistan since 2007. He pursued his tertiary studies at the prestigious Stockholm University in the fields of international relations, political science and East Asia studies. He has studied also military history in Swedish Defense University.
Mr. Turghun has twice-served as the Chairman of the Uyghur Educational Association based in Sweden. He has also worked as a political analyst for the Uyghur Research Institution between 2018-2021.
Nijat is responsible for planning work and leading the board of CETNI. He regularly contributes political analysis on geopolitical issues and China’s foreign affairs.

Coordinator and Columnist
Mr. Abdugheni Sabit is a Netherlands-based Uyghur who has been actively involved in the cause of East Turkistan since 2007. He previously served as the General Secretary of the Netherlands East Turkistan Uyghur Association and is the founder of Talk East Turkistan.
He currently serves as the Internal Affairs Coordinator and Muslim World Liaison at the Centre for East Turkistan National Interest (CETNI), where he supports coordination with East Turkistan organizations and engagement with non–East Turkistan institutions, particularly within the Muslim world.
He is also a columnist for CETNI, providing monthly analysis and commentary on East Turkistan–related issues, regional dynamics, and human rights concerns.

Media Coordinator and Researcher
Mr. Yasen Rusul is a Media Coordinator with a multidisciplinary background in Information Technology and Accounting, supporting research-driven communication and strategic engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT and a Diploma in Accounting, equipping him with the analytical, technical, and organizational skills required in a think tank or research environment. His work focuses on coordinating media initiatives, managing digital platforms, and translating complex ideas into clear, impactful narratives. By bridging research, technology, and communication, he has deep contributes to informed public discourse and evidence-based policy dialogue.
Podcast interviewer and commentator
Ms.Tamche Uyghur is a Uyghur language Podcast interviewer and serves as a regular commentator for Center for East Turkistan National Interest’s Uyghur language website . Her work focuses on social issues affecting the Uyghur diaspora, providing analysis and insights for Uyghur speaking audiences..
